Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Begin by preparing your ingredients. Thaw shrimp, mince garlic, zest the lemon, and chop fresh herbs.
  2. In a large pot, boil salted water and cook the pasta according to package instructions, about 8-10 minutes. Drain and set aside, reserving some pasta water.
  3. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add shrimp, season with smoked paprika, chili flakes, salt, and pepper. Cook for 1-2 minutes per side until opaque.
  4. In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium, add more olive oil if necessary, and sauté garlic until fragrant. Add spinach and cook until wilted, about 1-2 minutes.
  5. Return shrimp to the skillet, add drained pasta, lemon juice, and zest. Toss to combine, adding reserved pasta water as needed.
  6. Plate while hot and garnish with Parmesan cheese, a wedge of lemon, or fresh herbs.
