Ingredients
  

For the Loaf
  • 1 lb Ground Beef (80-85% lean) can substitute with ground turkey
  • 1 medium Onion finely chopped or grated
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 1/2 cup Milk can substitute with heavy cream or almond milk
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs (preferably Panko) for keto, substitute with almond flour or crushed pork rinds
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced fresh or garlic powder
  • 1/2 cup Ketchup opt for low-sugar for keto
  • 1/4 cup Fresh Parsley can substitute with thyme or basil
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce can replace with tamari or soy sauce
  • to taste Salt & Black Pepper
  • 1 tbsp Italian Seasoning blend with dried herbs
For the Glaze
  • 1/2 cup Ketchup try low-sugar
  • 2 tbsp Brown Sugar can swap with honey or keto sweetener
  • 1 tbsp White Vinegar can replace with apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp Onion Powder

Method
 

Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Gather all ingredients to make the next steps smoother.
  2. Grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan or line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, chopped onion, eggs, milk, breadcrumbs, minced garlic, ketchup, parsley, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Mix gently.
  4. Transfer the mixture to the prepared loaf pan or shape it into a loaf on the baking sheet.
  5. In a small bowl, mix together ketchup, brown sugar, white vinegar, garlic powder, and onion powder for the glaze. Brush half over the meatloaf.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes. Brush remaining glaze and return to oven for 15-30 minutes.
  7. Once done, let it rest for 10-15 minutes, then slice and serve.
