- Tear the day-old croissants into large, bite-sized chunks and place them in a greased baking dish.
- Cook the ground sausage in a skillet over medium heat until browned, then drain fat and distribute over the croissants.
- Whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder until smooth.
- Pour the egg mixture over the croissants and sausage, press down gently, cover, and refrigerate overnight.
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and let the casserole come to room temperature.
