Step-by-Step Instructions for Cajun Shrimp
  1. Toss 1 pound of peeled and deveined shrimp with ¼ teaspoon of salt in a bowl. Allow them to sit for 1 minute, then rinse under cold water.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine 2 tablespoons of room temperature butter, 1 clove of minced garlic, and 1 tablespoon of chopped cilantro (or parsley). Stir in 1 ½ teaspoons of cajun seasoning until blended.
  3. Heat a skillet over medium heat and add ½ tablespoon of olive oil. Lay the shrimp in a single layer and cook for about 1 minute until they start to turn pink.
