Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with liners or grease it.
  2. Mash the ripe bananas until smooth and stir in the melted butter until combined.
  3. Add baking soda, salt, and sugar, mix well, then add the egg and vanilla extract.
  4. Gently fold in the flour until just combined, being careful not to overmix.
  5. Spoon half the batter into the muffin tin, filling each cup halfway.
  6. Create a well in the batter and add about 1 teaspoon of Nutella to each.
  7. Cover Nutella with remaining batter until each cup is about three-quarters full.
  8. Swirl Nutella into the batter with a toothpick for a marbled effect.
  9. Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  10. Cool in the pan for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
