Step-by-Step Instructions for Korean Beef Noodles
  1. Prepare the Beef: Trim excess fat from the beef chuck and slice into bite-sized chunks. Season generously with black pepper.
  2. Mix the Sauce: In a mixing bowl, combine beef broth, soy sauce, brown sugar, minced ginger, minced garlic, sesame oil, and gochujang. Stir for 2-3 minutes until sugar is dissolved.
  3. Place in Slow Cooker: Transfer seasoned beef to the slow cooker and pour sauce mixture over it, ensuring all pieces are coated.
  4. Cook: Cover slow cooker with lid, set to low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours until beef is tender.
  5. Cook Noodles: 15-20 minutes before cooking time is complete, prepare noodles according to package instructions. Boil water, cook noodles for 5-7 minutes until al dente, drain and set aside.
  6. Combine: Once beef is tender, gently add cooked noodles to slow cooker and stir to coat with sauce.
