Prepare the Crust
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Combine melted butter with honeybun cake mix in a mixing bowl until crumbly. Press into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan. Bake for about 10 minutes until lightly golden, then set aside to cool.
Make the Filling
- In a large bowl, beat softened cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add granulated sugar and vanilla extract, mixing well. Incorporate eggs one at a time, blending fully, then add cinnamon.
Layer the Mixture
- Pour filling over cooled crust in the springform pan. Smooth the top with a spatula.
Bake the Cheesecake
- Bake at 325°F (160°C) for about 60 minutes. The cheesecake should be set around the edges and slightly jiggly in the center.
Cool Down
- After baking, turn off the oven and crack the door. Let the cheesecake cool for about 30 minutes, then chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours or overnight.
