Method
 

Prepare the Crust
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Combine melted butter with honeybun cake mix in a mixing bowl until crumbly. Press into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan. Bake for about 10 minutes until lightly golden, then set aside to cool.
Make the Filling
  1. In a large bowl, beat softened cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add granulated sugar and vanilla extract, mixing well. Incorporate eggs one at a time, blending fully, then add cinnamon.
Layer the Mixture
  1. Pour filling over cooled crust in the springform pan. Smooth the top with a spatula.
Bake the Cheesecake
  1. Bake at 325°F (160°C) for about 60 minutes. The cheesecake should be set around the edges and slightly jiggly in the center.
Cool Down
  1. After baking, turn off the oven and crack the door. Let the cheesecake cool for about 30 minutes, then chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours or overnight.
