  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 cup Chocolate Chips Optional; can substitute with butterscotch chips
  • 1/2 cup Nuts Optional; any kind can be used

  • 1/2 cup Frosting Melted chocolate mixed with nut butter if desired

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350ºF (175ºC) and grease a 9x13 inch baking pan.
  2. Mix finely grated zucchini, brown sugar, applesauce, eggs, and vanilla extract in a large mixing bowl.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
  4. Fold the dry mixture into the wet ingredients carefully until combined.
  5. Fold in chocolate chips and nuts into the brownie batter.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared pan, spreading it evenly.
  7. Bake for approximately 55 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Cool for at least 15 minutes; frost if desired, cut into squares, and enjoy!
