Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Pat the chicken breasts dry and season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Let them sit for 10 minutes.
  2. Melt ½ cup of unsalted butter in a medium saucepan over low heat. Add minced garlic and stir until fragrant, about 2 minutes.
  3. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the chicken for 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown. Pour in garlic butter and chicken broth. Simmer for 10 minutes.
  4. Alternatively, place the chicken in a slow cooker with garlic butter and chicken broth. Cook on low for 4 hours.
  5. Boil salted water in a large pot, add bowtie pasta, and cook according to package instructions for 10-12 minutes. Drain without rinsing.
  6. Combine cooked pasta with the chicken in the skillet and toss gently over low heat for 2-3 minutes.
  7. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and serve with Parmesan cheese if desired.
