Cooking Steps
- Preheat the griddle or frying pan over medium heat, around 350°F. Lightly grease with butter or oil.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the milk, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- In another bowl, sift together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt until well combined.
- Make a well in the center of the dry mixture, pour in the wet mixture, and stir until just combined, leaving lumps.
- Pour ¼ cup of batter onto the hot griddle for each pancake, cooking until bubbles form, around 2 minutes.
- Flip the pancakes when bubbles pop, cooking for an additional 1-2 minutes until golden brown.
- Transfer pancakes to a plate, keeping warm in a 175-200°F oven until all are cooked.
