- In a bowl, combine shrimp with Shaoxing wine, salt, white pepper, and cornstarch. Let sit for 15 minutes.
- In another bowl, whisk chicken stock, oyster sauce, soy sauces, sugar, and a pinch of white pepper. Add cornstarch gradually.
- In a skillet, boil 1/4 cup water. Add broccoli and steam for 1 minute. Transfer to a plate.
- Heat peanut oil in the same skillet. Cook marinated shrimp for about 1 minute, flip, then add garlic and ginger for another minute.
- Add the sauce to the shrimp, then add steamed broccoli. Stir for 2-3 minutes until sauce thickens.
- Serve hot over rice or on its own. Enjoy!
