- Pat the beef chuck roast dry with paper towels and rub with olive oil. Season with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- Optional: Sear each side of the seasoned roast in a skillet for 3-4 minutes until golden brown.
- Transfer the seasoned beef chuck roast into the Crockpot.
- Mix beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and soy sauce in a bowl, then pour over the roast in the Crockpot.
- Cover the Crockpot and cook on low for 8 hours.
- After cooking, remove the roast and let it rest for 5 minutes, then shred with forks.
- Return shredded beef to the Crockpot to soak in the juices for 10-15 minutes.
- Slice hoagie rolls open, toast if desired, then fill with shredded beef.
- Serve with au jus for dipping and garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
