Step-by-Step Instructions for Classic Lasagna
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Bring salted water to a boil, and cook lasagna noodles for 8-10 minutes until al dente.
  3. In a skillet, combine olive oil and chopped onion. Sauté until softened, then add ground beef and cook until browned.
  4. Stir in salt, pepper, garlic, marinara sauce, Italian seasoning, and fresh parsley. Simmer for 10-15 minutes.
  5. Combine beaten egg with ricotta cheese until blended.
  6. Spread 1 cup of meat sauce in baking dish, layer noodles, ricotta mixture, mozzarella, and Parmesan. Repeat layers.
