Method
 

Directions
  1. Trim the crusts from the thick slices of white bread and cut each slice into 9 equal cubes.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, and salt until smooth.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix the sugar and ground cinnamon until well combined.
  4. Heat a skillet on medium-high and melt butter.
  5. Dip half of the bread cubes into the custard and place into the hot skillet.
  6. Cook for about 2 to 3 minutes until golden brown, tossing to ensure even cooking.
  7. Transfer to cinnamon-sugar mix and coat evenly.
  8. Repeat the frying process with remaining bread cubes.
  9. Serve warm with maple syrup.
