- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- If using puff pastry, roll it out on a lightly floured surface to your desired thickness. For crescent roll dough, unroll the tube. Cut the dough into rectangles or triangles.
- Cut your choice of deli-sliced ham or smoked ham, along with cheese sticks, into pieces that fit comfortably within your dough sections.
- Take a piece of dough and place a slice of ham and a cheese stick on top. Roll the dough around the filling, seal the edges tightly.
- In a small bowl, mix together melted butter, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, onion powder, and poppy seeds.
- Brush the prepared glaze over each assembled stick, and lightly sprinkle coarse salt on top.
- Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake the Cheesy Ham and Cheese Sticks for about 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
- Remove the sticks from the oven and let them cool on the sheet for a couple of minutes. Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauces.
