Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. If using puff pastry, roll it out on a lightly floured surface to your desired thickness. For crescent roll dough, unroll the tube. Cut the dough into rectangles or triangles.
  3. Cut your choice of deli-sliced ham or smoked ham, along with cheese sticks, into pieces that fit comfortably within your dough sections.
  4. Take a piece of dough and place a slice of ham and a cheese stick on top. Roll the dough around the filling, seal the edges tightly.
  5. In a small bowl, mix together melted butter, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, onion powder, and poppy seeds.
  6. Brush the prepared glaze over each assembled stick, and lightly sprinkle coarse salt on top.
  7. Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake the Cheesy Ham and Cheese Sticks for about 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Remove the sticks from the oven and let them cool on the sheet for a couple of minutes. Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauces.
