  • 1 cup Cheddar Cheese Main cheese for flavor; can substitute with mozzarella or dairy-free alternatives
  • to taste Salt Essential seasoning
  • to taste Pepper Essential seasoning

  • 1 cup Extra Cheddar Cheese For a cheesy topping

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare the baking dish by greasing it with olive oil.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, add olive oil and ground beef. Cook for 5-7 minutes until browned and cooked through.
  3. Season the browned beef with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Stir well.
  4. Sauté sliced zucchini in the same skillet for about 5 minutes until tender and slightly golden.
  5. In a mixing bowl, beat the egg, then add cream cheese and half of the cheddar cheese. Mix until smooth.
  6. Layer half of the sautéed zucchini in a greased baking dish, followed by the seasoned beef, then the remaining zucchini, and pour the creamy mixture over it.
  7. Sprinkle the remaining cheddar cheese on top of the casserole.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
  9. Let the casserole cool for 5-10 minutes before slicing and serving.
