  • 30 ounces Frozen French Fries Tater tots can be used instead for a fun twist.
  • 2 cups Shredded Cheddar Cheese American cheese can be used for classic flavor.
  • 1 cup Diced Onions Optional; swap for sautéed shallots if preferred.
  • 1/2 cup Diced Pickles Optional; omit if not liked.
  • 1/4 cup Ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons Mustard
  • 1/2 cup Milk Non-dairy milk can be used.
  • 1/3 cup Mayonnaise Sour cream or Greek yogurt can substitute.
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder Optional; can be omitted.
  • 1 teaspoon Onion Powder Optional; skip if not available.
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh Parsley Optional; for garnishing.

Method
 

Cooking Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat for 6-7 minutes until browned. Drain excess grease and season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  3. Stir in ketchup, mustard, mayonnaise, diced onions, and pickles to the beef mixture.
  4. Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish and spread a layer of frozen French fries across the bottom.
  5. Pour the seasoned beef mixture evenly over the fries, spreading it out with a spatula.
  6. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the top of the beef mixture, covering completely.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes, looking for bubbly cheese and crispy fries.
  8. Allow to cool for 5 minutes before serving. Optionally, garnish with fresh parsley.
