  • 2 cups Blueberries fresh preferred, frozen acceptable but may release moisture

Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Prepare the Cream Cheese Mixture: In a mixing bowl, blend cream cheese, powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla until smooth, then fold in blueberries.
  2. Layer the Bread: Butter a baking dish, cube the French bread, and layer it evenly in the dish.
  3. Spread the Cream Cheese Mixture: Pour the cream cheese mixture over the bread layer, spreading it evenly.
  4. Add More Bread Cubes: Add remaining bread cubes on top and gently press down.
  5. Create the Egg Mixture: Whisk together eggs, milk, vanilla, cinnamon, and nutmeg; pour over the layered bread.
  6. Soak the Casserole: Press bread down gently, sprinkle blueberries on top, cover with foil, and refrigerate for at least 8 hours.
