Ingredients
  

For the Shrimp
  • 1 pound Large Shrimp can swap with chicken breast or tofu
  • 1/2 cup Cornstarch gluten-free alternatives include rice flour
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Smoked Paprika optional
  • 1/4 cup Vegetable Oil or canola/peanut oil
For the Bang Bang Sauce
  • 1/2 cup Mayonnaise creamy base
  • 1/4 cup Sweet Chili Sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Sriracha adjust to taste
  • 1 tablespoon Honey
  • 1 tablespoon Lime Juice
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
For the Pasta
  • 8 ounces Pasta (Spaghetti/Fettuccine) choice of shape
  • 1 tablespoon Olive Oil for sautéing
  • 1/4 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese for garnish
  • 2 tablespoons Chopped Green Onions for garnish
  • 1/2 teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes optional

Method
 

Cooking Instructions
  1. Season the large shrimp with salt, black pepper, and smoked paprika. Dredge in cornstarch and set aside.
  2. In a skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Fry shrimp for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown.
  3. Cook pasta in salted boiling water according to package instructions, then drain and reserve ½ cup of pasta water.
  4. Whisk mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, Sriracha, honey, lime juice, and garlic in a bowl until smooth.
  5. In the skillet, heat olive oil and sauté minced garlic for 30 seconds. Toss in drained pasta.
  6. Add Bang Bang sauce to the pasta, toss to coat, then gently fold in the crispy shrimp.
  7. Serve garnished with Parmesan cheese, green onions, and optional red pepper flakes.
